ADVANCED BODYWORK & SPORTS MASSAGE

This isn't a spa day. It's targeted, skilled manual therapy designed to get your body moving the way it was built to.

WHAT IT IS

MULTIPLE TOOLS. ONE PURPOSE: RESULTS

Sports massage and deep tissue massage are both advanced, therapeutic forms of manual therapy — far removed from the light-pressure relaxation massage you find at a spa or franchise clinic. We use both, and often combine other forms of manual therapy, to address the specific soft tissue demands of your lifestyle, sport, and injury history.

   WHY SOFT TISSUE MATTERS

  • Muscles, fascia, and connective tissue hold the history of everything your body has been through — old injuries, poor posture, overtraining, chronic stress. They develop adhesions (dense tissue), trigger points (painful knots), and holding patterns that restrict movement and feed pain cycles. Targeted manual therapy breaks these patterns down and resets the tissue — often producing relief that no amount of stretching, foam rolling, or passive rest can match.

   SPORTS MASSAGE

  • Sports massage is specifically designed around the physiological demands of athletic training and competition. It targets the muscles, tendons, and connective tissue most heavily loaded by your particular sport or training style. We use a combination of effleurage, petrissage, compression, friction, and stretching techniques strategically sequenced to prepare your body for performance, accelerate recovery, and address sport-specific soft tissue dysfunction.

   DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE & BODYWORK

  • Deep tissue massage works through multiple layers of muscle and fascia — reaching the deeper structures that are often the true source of chronic pain and dysfunction. Using sustained, directed pressure and specific cross-fiber friction techniques, we break down adhesions, release trigger points, and restore tissue mobility in structures that have been locked down — sometimes for years.
  • This is the modality that tends to surprise people who have only experienced standard massage. The work is deep, purposeful, and anatomically precise. Sessions require an experienced practitioner who understands tissue response — this is not pressure for its own sake, but targeted therapeutic intent.
